The Rollup Multiple Boards app is updated and now supports native filtering. Filtering has always been possible but required an additional app (Filter Multiple Boards). Because of this update Filter Multiple Boards will be phased out.

Previously added filters (through Filter Multiple Boards) are still functioning as long as the Filter Multiple Boards app is not fully phased out. Please remove filters added with Filter Multiple Boards and reconfigure them in Rollup Multiple Boards.

To be able to use the new filtering you need to upgrade the Rollup Multiple Boards app. This can be done by clicking your Avatar>Admin>app and click the update button.

For filtering you need to select a supported filter column (dropdown or people) in both the template (=down-level) board and the Top-level (master) board. The filter type selection is for future use and should be set to the only available option.

In the current version of the app the filter type can only be set to “Board”. This filter type filters all recipes based on the template selected and according to the matching data in the down-level and Top-level filter columns. In a future release of the app a filter type “Recipe” will be available and all the “Watch column” recipes will have a selector to use “Board” filters, a “Recipe” filter or “None” for no filtering at all.
