AutoID Column got an update. The recipe(s) where you select the column to write the ID to used to accept only columns of type text. With this update you can now select the Name column (leftmost column) too, this will always be the first option when you click the this column field in the recipe.

It was always possible to write to the Name column by deleting the output column from your board. With this update writing to the Name column is made easier. For this update you need to:

• update the AutoID Column app (Avatar > Admin > Apps)
• delete the AutoID recipes from the board and add them again

SPOILER ALERT: a new app will be released soon, called AutoID Subitems. As you can guess this AutoID app generates ID's for subitems (create only in the first release). In the format box you can use {columid} fields from both the parent- and the sub-item. When used together with AutoID Column subitems can be numbered like:  PR001.01. Stay tuned.
