Today we announce a brand new app: AutoID Subitems. 

This new app generates ID's for subitems, just as the well-known AutoID Column does it for items. At this moment the only trigger is the creation of a new subitem. The subitem gets the ID which is highly configurable. Part of the generated ID can be the content of a column where the column referenced can be in the subitem or the parent item. 

When used alongside AutoID Column the new app can take the ID form the parent (generated by AutoID Column) and extend that ID with a new sequence, like:

• ID-118.01
• PR-092.T03
• etc.
